Video Premiere: Chatham County Line, “Crop Comes In”

Acclaimed North Carolina string band Chatham County Line will release Sight and Sound, a new live performance CD/DVD, on June 26. Watch the video for the plaintive, lovely “Crop Comes In” below.
“We all sing, so we all yearn for those songs where everyone gets to chime in a little bit,” Dave Wilson, the band’s guitarist and lead vocalist, tells American Songwriter.
“This song came out of the air at some point while we were working on Wildwood and we all realized it was a perfect time for that call and response in the chorus. When we played it for the first time, we knew we had something… probably not a song like ‘The Gambler’ that will put your grandkids through college… but something good nonetheless.”
