The Dream Players are:

James Burton
Guitar icon James Burton first came to notoriety through a six year stint with Ricky Nelson's band beginning in the late 1950s. Burton is most widely known for his role as Elvis Presley's recording and touring guitarist from 1969 until Elvis' death in 1977. Burton also played with Elvis as far back as his sophomore release, Elvis, from 1956. James helped define the King's signature sound through his singular once-a-generation talent. He went on to be a side man for an array of musical heavyweights including Buffalo Springfield, Joni Mitchell, Gram Parsons, Neil Young and Elvis Costello, among others. James was also pivotal in the defining of the Bakersfield sound through his work with Merle Haggard and Buck Owens. Burton is credited on over 400 albums and continues at age 68 to lay down some of the most searing guitar runs ever heard in popular music.

Al Perkins
Steel player Al Perkins has made music with the giants of rock and country for over 30 years. Perkins first gained fame through his stint with Gram Parsons' Flying Burrito Brothers, followed by his tenure with Stephen Stills vehicle, Manassas. Perkins went on to be a sideman for music's most prolific talents. From his playing on The Rolling Stones' epic Exile on Main Street to his work with everyone from Solomon Burke to Bob Dylan (Knocked Out Loaded) or Tori Amos, when music's biggest names need steel, they call Al Perkins.

Glen D. Hardin
The genesis of pianist Glen D. Hardin's 30 plus-year career in music was as a member of The Crickets, following the death of the band's founder and rock n' roll legend, Buddy Holly. Glen played alongside James Burton in Elvis Presley's core band from 1970 until just before Elvis' death in 1977, creating and defining Presley's '70s sound. Hardin continued on following Presley's passing, playing with just about everyone imaginable. Glen has laid down piano for Roy Orbison, Dwight Yoakam, Elvis Costello and Waylon Jennings as well as serving as Emmylou Harris' main piano player throughout her career.

Ron Tutt
Drummer Ron Tutt was also part of the Elvis sessions with James Burton. Tutt went on to play with Elvis throughout his career as well as with a bevy of other high profile artists. Tutt's lengthy resume of hundreds of credits packs such punches as Gram Parsons (Grievous Angel), Doc Watson and Los Lobos as well as venturing into the world of pop with artists like The Carpenters, Neil Diamond and Billy Joel.

Gary Tallent
Bass player Gary Tallent is a founding member of Bruce Springsteen's E Street Band. His playing can be heard on every classic Springsteen album including but not limited to: Greetings from Asbury Park, NJ, Born to Run, Darkness on the Edge of Town, The River and Born in the U.S.A. Since the 1980s Gary has been producing artists and playing bass with folks like Steve Earle and Sonny Burgess. He lives in Nashville where he owns his own recording studio, MoonDog.

Steve Sheehan
Steve Sheehan is a Jim Lauderdale vet, appearing on another star-studded Lauderdale affair, The Other Sessions as well as Country Super Hits Vol. 1. Sheehan's acoustic guitar chops can be found on records from Pam Tillis, Dierks Bentley, Clair Lynch and Montgomery Gentry as well as many, many more.
