For the first time ever, Chatham County Line’s 2008 critically acclaimed album IV is available on vinyl LP. CCL fans can own the album now on high-quality collectible 180 gram vinyl.

The North Carolina quartet’s fourth album IV, is a boozy blend of Americana and loose acoustic rockers that exhibits the band’s ever-evolving style. The albums showcases the band’s dedication to traditional instruments by using their love for bluegrass as a base on which to layer an eclectic blend of roots music.

Bluegrass workouts like “The Carolinian” stand beside pop geared numbers such as “Chip of a Star” and the hard soul of “Birmingham Jail.” The progression the band displayed on IV was helped along by indie pop musician and producer Chris Stamey (Yo La Tengo, Alex Chilton, Alejandro Escovedo), making for a starkly heartfelt testament to making the past new again.

With Chatham County Line and Yep Roc Records both based in NC, we want to encourage fans of the band and the label to consider donating to the Red Cross to help benefit those affected by the recent tornadoes that swept across our home state. You can visit the official Red Cross Website now to make a donation online directly to the organization. Thanks for helping those in need!
