DESCRIPTION: Yep Roc Records is in search of motivated and enthusiastic music lovers to help us spread the word about our talented roster as a part of our Roc Brigade online street team!  We are looking for members that appreciate great music and want to get involved in letting others know about it too!  If you are enthusiastic about music, have a desire to spread the word about Yep Roc's roster, and want to gain experience in the music industry; the Yep Roc Street Team is the perfect opportunity for you.  We ask that all of our street team members support the entire roster. If you are only interested in one or a small portion of our artists, we suggest visiting their websites and signing up for individual street teams there. However, as a member of the street team you will get involved in all areas of online promotion with our talented roster. DETAILS: Roc Brigade members are sent an email update each month that has all the latest Yep Roc news, links to free mp3's, media players, and banners.  Each member is responsible for taking the online materials (mp3 links, Flash banners, media player links) and posting them all across the web.  MySpace and chat groups are great places to start, but feel free to explore new and innovative ways to spread the word.  Once you have been out on the web posting the materials, you will send an email with screenshots or links to all the places you have posted items to STREETTEAM@YEPROC.COM.  Points are assigned for each particular item and we will keep track of your total points here at Yep Roc.  Sending in these reports let us know where our online materials are going and will allow us to keep a record of web locations that are worthy of future attention. We love hearing feedback and your input is what will make you a valuable member of our team. In addition, we may also occasionally contact you individually by market to help us make a special push for upcoming shows in your area in exchange for limited edition prizes such as show posters, autographed materials and concert tickets. Benefits: Roc Brigade members are on the front line of our promotional efforts and get all the first updates on news from Yep Roc!  This means each street team member will get loads of free mp3's, new videos and the most up to date news.  Members also can work toward free downloads from the Yep Roc webstore, posters, cds and more by cashing in the points they earn from reports.  In each month's email, you will find instructions on how to redeem your points and what great items you can get.  The Roc Brigade will have access to special promotional items that won't be available to the public for all your favorite Yep Roc artists!
